Things I can see here:

  • I want to know how much time I have until my next class so that I know whether or not to read a chapter or go get a sandwich.

  • See where my next class is located so that I can plan enough time for travel

  • See my to-dos so that I know what needs to be done

  • See the class my to-dos are related to so that I can understand more about what needs to be done

  • See when tasks are due so that I can prioritize what needs to be done

  • See to-dos due today as a separate group, so that I can focus on more urgent ones

  • See to-dos due this week as a separate group, so that I can plan my week properly

  • See to-dos that are due for some other time period as a separate group so that I can plan properly

Things I can do here:

  • Add a to-do so that I can remember it for later

  • Define a due date for this to-do so that I can prioritize when it needs to be completed

  • Choose which class my to-do is related to so that I can better understand the to-do

  • Go see my schedule so that I know what classes I have throughout the week

  • Go see a directory of people so that I might be able to call or email my professors

When does the countdown timer begin? There may be times when it’s necessary to display days or hours until the next class begins.

From what I understand, once to-dos clear in the next session, the user is unable to view or undo completed items.

The bottom area which is meant for creating a new entry does not have an explicit “Done.” While it may add a to-do once all fields are completed, this is not a great experience.

How can a user delete or modify an existing to-do?

OPPORTUNITIES

Integrate a swipe on list items. This would allow the user to access additional features such as done, modify, and delete.

Adding a new tab or “view” for completed items so that a user can “undo” a to-do or reference completed to-dos.

Create a separate full-screen modal for adding a new entry. Grouping a series of tasks together before they can be saved allows for greater flexibility while creating or editing an existing entry. The more focused view on complex tasks may allow for additional features such as “Notes.”
