REI
summary
Snaplink, REI’s intranet needed to regain relevance as a primary resource for employees. Working within existing budgetary and time constraints, the solution proposed a multi-phased approach to updating the site. Phase one consisted of creating a more user friendly experience without an overhaul of site iA, by focusing on search and findability as a core component. The site's visual identity was updated to align with REI brand standards. This resulted in an immediate boost in employee engagement.
THE CHALLENGE
Site iA & functionality limited accessibility to relevant content
- Time & budget constraints prevented an overhaul of site iA
